Founded during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, The Wine Tasting Collective began as a virtual gathering of wine lovers. Today, we are a thriving community of enthusiasts who share a passion for discovering, tasting, and discussing wine.

Join us on Saturday, October 5th at The Hounds of Erie Winery as we kick off the fall season with our First Annual Harvest Party with great friends and great wine!

This charming winery is family owned and is nestled back off the beaten path in Norfolk County. Boasting a bounty of hybrid grape varietals and apples, this is the perfect opportunity for a casual Saturday stroll through the vineyard while enjoying some wine and cider!

Being new to Brantford and also a lover of wine, I was looking for a place to meet new people and enjoy socializing over wine. Then I discovered The Wine Tasting Collective. I am not a wine connoisseur and wasn’t looking for that kind of group. Instead, what I discovered was a group of like-minded people, who just love wine…tasting, experiencing our local vineyards, and learning from the experts. I also love the camaraderie of the group and learning from each other. With a variety of different ways to enjoy wine…from virtual tastings to gatherings to visiting wineries, there is something for everyone. It is a non-intimidating and very welcoming group, so if you’re new to the world of wine or if you are a connoisseur, you will be welcomed. If you’re looking for a fun, relaxed and low-key wine experience, this group might be just what you’re looking for!
